How to select the right Fastener Size:

  1. Measure the THICKNESS OF YOUR BELT
If it is necessary to counter-sink fasteners, measure the belt thickness after splicing.

  2. CHECK THE BELT TENSION
The manufacturer's recommended maximum working strength for a conveyor belt splice with a mechanical fastener. It is important NOT to operate the belt or fastener outside of the recommended ratings.

  3. CHECK THE DIAMETER OF THE SMALLEST PULLEY
Consider only pulleys over which the belt makes at least a 90o wrap.

  4. USE THE CHARTS ABOVE TO SELECT THE RIGHT TYPE AND SIZE OF FASTENER APPROPRIATE TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS.
